MTA1 and breast cancer: Interestingly, Sadr-Nabavi et al., (2009) reported a reduction in RNA and protein levels of EFEMP1 in human sporadic breast cancer tissues [37] which imply that over expression of Mta1 could lead to down regulation of EFEMP. In addition, we also found that the gene encoding CD24/HSA had the maximum fold change among the down regulated genes.
