RORA and Dystonia: Behavioral studies on the RORA-deficient staggerer (RORA+/sg) mouse, primarily used as a model to study ataxia and dystonia[13], further show that RORA is also associated with restricted behaviors reminiscent of ASD, such as perseverative tendencies[18], limited maze patrolling[19], anomalous object exploration[20] as well as deficits in spatial learning[21].
