The present experiments demonstrate that, in the CRF-OE mice with alopecia, blockade of both CRF1 and CRF2 receptors with intraperitoneal or subcutaneous injection of the peptide CRF1 and CRF2 receptor antagonist, astressin-B [20] induces a robust skin pigmentation and hair re-growth.
