The experiment of Kobayashi [1] showed that UTI inhibited human ovarian cancer and the effect could be related to UTI down-regulation of protein kinase C (PKC), which regulates the methionine/extracellular-signal of the MEK/ERK/c-Jun-dependent signal pathway to collaboratively down-regulate the plasminogen activator urokinase. This evidence concerns the gene MAPK1 and bacterial urinary tract infection.
