The odds ratio (ORs) for predicting the development of SLE were highest for anti-dsDNA at 18.13 (95% confidence interval (95% CI), 3.58 to 91.84), followed by ANAs at 11.5 (95% CI, 4.54 to 28.87) and anti-Ro/SSA antibodies at 8.94 (95% CI, 2.45 to 32.58). This evidence concerns the gene TRIM21 and systemic lupus erythematosus.
