In 1998, Poston proved by histology and immunohistochemistry that cases II and VI (only cases II, IV, and VI have fixed tissue archived since 1832) indeed represent what we now recognize as Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL) whereas case IV was a case of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL), possibly a peripheral T cell lymphoma (PTCL) with rare CD15+ Reed-Sternberg-like cells [3]. Here, FUT4 is linked to non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
