A study reported increases in IL-1β, IL-2, IL-5, IL-6, IL-12, IL-13, in seasonal allergic conjunctivitis (SAC), vernal keratoconjunctivitis (VKC) and atopic keratoconjunctivitis (AKC), while IL-4, IFN-γ and IL-10 levels were increased in SAC and VKC compared to controls [16]. Here, IL2 is linked to atopic conjunctivitis.
