We observed that both HIV-1 NL4-3 WT virus (Figure 3C) and the N74D CA mutant (Figure 3D) required TRN-SR2 for efficient infection of HeLaP4 cells (average reduction of infectivity of 80% and 50% in TRN-SR2 knockdown cells, respectively), although the N74D CA mutant virus was less sensitive to TRN-SR2 depletion.
