ALB and Hypertension: Compared to those without CKD, subjects with CKD with eGFRcys <60 ml/min/1.73 m2 were older, had a higher prevalence of diabetes and hypertension, higher rate of ACE-I and statin use, higher fasting glucose, triglycerides and urinary albumin to creatinine ratio, lower HDL and LDL, and lower rate of alcohol use.
