Although most of the adenocarcinoma specimens have more CD8+ T cells than the liver/lung metastases (37 vs 26), no statistically significant difference was found between adenocarcinoma and the liver/lung metastases (p = 0.4957), probably due to the higher CD8+ T cell number in one of the lung metastases specimen (Fig. 6B). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and adenocarcinoma.
