Notably, the binding of CTCF to CTCF3 has been replicated in all available genome-wide ChIP-Seq studies, including resting human CD4+T cells [38], five differentiated non-cancerous, karyotypically normal human cell lines (Figure 6a), and a number of immortalized human cancer cell lines ([39] and http://genome-test.cse.ucsc.edu; data not shown). The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is cancer.
