Unsupervised hierarchical clustering of this HCV extended HIDN helped us to profile aetiological relationships between HCV proteins and some well-described HCV-related clinical syndromes (Figure 5b), such as hepatocellular carcinoma (NS4A, NS5A, CORE, NS3) (Figure 5c, left), cirrhosis (CORE) (Figure 5c, right) and to automatically classify and highlight molecular determinants of the diseases. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and Cirrhosis.
