CD58 and type 1 diabetes mellitus: Pathway Express identified significant enrichment of the KEGG (Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes) pathways for cell adhesion molecules, neuroactive ligand-receptor interactions, allograft rejection, and type I diabetes mellitus, including well-defined immunological genes coding for adhesive molecules (CD58, CD226, SELPLG, and VCAM1) and MHC class I and class II genes.
