Two members of the family, RhoA and RhoC, have been implicated in metastasis [15-18], and the expression of the Rho-GTPase-activating protein (Rho-GAP) DLC1 (for Deleted in Liver Cancer 1) is suppressed in liver cancer tissue and in a number of other cancers [19,20]. The gene discussed is DLC1; the disease is cancer.
