IGHE and Increased total eosinophil count: Different diagnostic criteria have been established based on a combination of clinical and radiological signs together with the following biochemical parameters, again none of them being very specific: elevated IgE (>500–1000 IU/l or a 4-fold rise), eosinophilia, specific IgE for A. fumigatus or recombinant antigens (or positive skin prick test), and precipitins to A. fumigatus.
