In regression analysis numerous markers of JIA activity influenced the presence of low bone mineral density for chronological age: morning stiffness (p = 0.01), SJC (p = 0.015), TJC (p = 0.01), VAS (p = 0.004), RAI (p = 0.04), DAS (p = 0.0006), DAS 28 (p = 0.01), platelet count (p = 0.007), CRP (p = 0.01) and albumin level (p = 0.03).
