Results of RT–PCR indicated that induction of MRP2 mRNA expression was significantly increased by 1.5- and 2.5-fold in SUIT-2-CD3 and SUIT-2-CD4 cells, respectively, compared with parent cells, whereas MRP1 and MRP3 expression remained unchanged, implying a contribution of MRP2 to acquired resistance for CDDP in pancreatic cancer. Here, CD4 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
