Figure 4G shows the overlay for FACS histograms of Caco-2 cells, where the CysLT1R internalization could be detected after 5 minutes of LTD4 stimulation. Other than the shift in histogram peaks, as shown in Figure 4G, we also evaluated the change in both median and mean fluorescent intensity of CysLT1R expression (data not shown). Based on the findings obtained from all the different approaches, our results confirmed that the CysLT1R is internalized in both colon cancer cells and non-transformed intestinal epithelial cells. This evidence concerns the gene CYSLTR1 and colonic neoplasm.
