The kinetics of IL-2, IFN-γ, and TNF-α production in the sera of GVHD mice demonstrated (Figure 5(a)) that the serum level of IL-2 increased from 39 ± 13 pg/ml at day −7 (control mice) to 93 ± 8.7 pg/ml (P < .05) and 112 ± 20 pg/ml (P < .05) at days +3 and +5, respectively, in parallel to DCs and T-cells expansion in the spleen of allogeneic recipients. The gene discussed is IFNG; the disease is graft versus host disease.
