Using genome-wide cDNA microarray analyses, it turned out that six genes, namely CDH3, KIF20A, MICAL2, TRIM29, ABHD, and EPHA4, were overexpressed in the six pancreatic cancer tissues in comparison with their adjacent normal counterparts, and we reported that CDH3/P-cadherin is a new TAA for immunotherapy of pancreatic, gastric, and colorectal cancers (Imai et al, 2008). The gene discussed is MICAL2; the disease is pancreatic neoplasm.
