Moreb et al. using knock-down of the ALDH1A1 and ALDH3A1 genes in lung cancer cells showed that ALDH1A1 and ALDH3A1 accounted for cyclophosphamide resistance, cell growth and in addition affected other genes which have been implicated in cellular homeostasis and malignant transformation [22]. This evidence concerns the gene ALDH3A1 and lung cancer.
