MARK1 and pure red-cell aplasia: Among the 37 kinase genes gaining activity in PRCa in comparison to healthy prostate there were 22 kinase genes (MASTL, CCRK, NEK6, MAP3K13, DCLK1, CSNK1G3, ATR, SBK1, TESK2, BRSK2, FGFRL1, VRK1, PRKCZ, PKN2, LMTK3, CDK3, NRBP2, MAP4K3, MARK1, MARK4, TSSK4, ENSG00000121388) without previous association to PRCa based on the Pubgene [52].
