Plasma levels of IgM against oxidized LDL and MDA-p210 as well as IgG against MDA-p210 did not change in response to increased hypercholesterolemia (Figure 11A-D) while the IgM anti-oxLDL titer of mice fed high fat diet for 8 weeks was markedly increased compared to mice fed chow diet for 4 weeks (Figure 11D). This evidence concerns the gene EVPL and familial hypercholesterolemia.
