CD79A and influenza: Although the IgA and IgG levels in nasal and tracheal washes were lower compared to those in mouse lung lavage, the membrane-anchored flagellin-containing VLP-immunized group showed about 6.4-fold higher IgA levels in both nasal and tracheal washes (8.3×103), and 2.8- and 4-fold higher IgG levels in nasal (2.6×103) and tracheal (3.6×103) washes compared to those of mice immunized by standard influenza VLPs.
