The following 14 genes distributed across the genome were associated with asthma diagnosis in more than three independent study populations (figure 1b): ADAM33, CCL5, CD14, DPP10, EDN1, GPR154, GSTP1, IL12B, IL13, IL4, IL4R, PTGDR, TNF, and VDR. This evidence concerns the gene CD14 and asthma.
