In correlation to what was detected for the TNF-α/IL-10 ratios after infection (Figure 5), in NH36sap vaccinated mice, the anti-CD4+ treatment induced 59.5%, and the anti-CD8+, 52% of the total LDU counts of mice treated with both antibodies simultaneously, indicating a similar degree of contribution of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells (Figure 6A; p>0.05) to the vaccine induced protection. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and infection.
