Several studies reported an increase of GAPDH expression in cancer cell lines [7,8] and shows that it has roles in the neoplastic transformation of hepatocytes [9], tumor cell motility and metastasis in rat prostate adenocarcinoma tissue [10], and in the detoxification of cisplatin and doxorubicin in cancer cells [11]. This evidence concerns the gene GAPDH and prostate adenocarcinoma.
