Another recent study to examine the effects of IL-10 (a potent anti-inflammatory cytokine poorly expressed in asthma) on TLR4 signalling demonstrates that IL-10 can suppress LPS-induced miR-155 expression in a STAT3-dependent manner leading to an increase in SHIP1 in bone marrow derived cells and in human PBMCs. This evidence concerns the gene TLR4 and asthma.
