Prostatic adenocarcinoma and pleomorphic giant cells, both variably express prostate-specific antigen and CKs.[11, 12] However, the possibility of metastatic pleomorphic giant cell carcinoma of prostate or metastatic sarcomatoid carcinoma of prostate was ruled out due to the benign appearance of the giant cells. This evidence concerns the gene KLK3 and prostate adenocarcinoma.
