NFKB1 and neoplasm: Importantly, nuclear NF-κB expression appeared to be dependent on nuclear PL2L proteins expression, because p65 or PL2L proteins alone were not detected in the nucleus of tumor cells (Fig. 8D4; yellow arrows indicate double stained nuclei), despite the fact that variable levels of nuclear p65 were detected in a few nuclei of infiltrated inflammatory cells (Fig. 8D4; green arrows).
