The most highly enriched TF was Wilm's tumour suppressor (Wt1) in the pink module (p < 3×10-5); this module is modestly enriched in GO categories associated with the regulation of transcription and neuronal development (see Additional File 3) and has also been associated in the literature with distinct neuropathological conditions such as Alzheimer's disease [39]. This evidence concerns the gene WT1 and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
