To identify these CKS1B-mediated SKP2/p27Kip1-independent signaling pathways, western blots were applied to screen for activation of the key signaling pathways which relate to MM cell survival and apoptosis, including MAPK, NF-κB, TP53, PI3K/AKT and STAT3 using OCI-MY5 cells after CKS1B-silencing by specific CKS1B-sh+RNA transfection. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and Miyoshi myopathy.
