Elevated concentrations of IL-8, TNFα, IL-12 (a heterodimer consisting of IL-12p40 and IL-12p70), GMCSF, and IFNγ in blood have been reported in colorectal cancer patients in some but not all studies (Berghella et al, 1996, 1997, 2002; Mroczko et al, 2001, 2007; Contasta et al, 2003; Roselli et al, 2003; Kaminska et al, 2005; Schetter et al, 2009; Stanilov et al, 2009). Here, CSF2 is linked to colorectal cancer.
