These genes were: ELOVL5, NKX3-1, PCGEM1, PCOTH, RAMP1, SPON2, STEAP1, and TPD52. Twenty-six genes (ABHD2, BNIP3, EEF1A2, ELOVL5, GALNT3, GLO1, HSD17B4, MARCKSL1, MDK, NGFRAP1, ODC1, OR51E2, PCGEM1, PCOTH, PGK1, PP2CB, PSMA7, RAMP1, RPS18, SELENBP1, SLC25A4, SLC25A6, SPON2, STEAP1, TPD52, and TRPM8) have known associations to prostate cancer [57,82,86-102]. This evidence concerns the gene RAMP1 and Familial prostate cancer.
