In total, seven genes were identified as highly upregulated upon infection, Casp9, Prkcb1, Hspa5, Radd45a, Dusp7, Rac1, and Casp1. Contrarily, four genes were highly downregulated in response to A. hydrophila infection, Map3k12, Crkl, Jun, and Raf1 (Additional file 6, Table S6). This evidence concerns the gene RAF1 and infection.
