When comparing methylation rates in localized tumors versus metastatic disease, the methylation of RUNX3 (p = 0.013), SCGB3A1-2 (p = 0.008), SFRP4-2 (p = 0.022), and DLC1 (p = 0.016) was significantly associated with the presence of metastatic disease.
