In summary, our results show that the use of neoadjuvant androgen deprivation therapy (NAAD) in conjunction with intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) leads to a significantly shorter time to serum prostate specific antigen (PSA) normalization (less than 1 ng/mL) than the use of IMRT alone in the treatment of clinically localized prostate cancer. Here, KLK3 is linked to prostate carcinoma.
