Additionally, we found that ZOL or FTI-277 could significantly enhance the chemosensitivity to cisplatin of NPC cell lines with high expression of CENP-F, but not in cell lines with low expression of CENP-F, suggesting that CENP-F is a potential target of ZOL or FTI-277 and expression of CENP-F has potential therapeutic implications in NPC chemotherapy. This evidence concerns the gene CENPF and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
