In cervix squamous cell carcinoma, ST6Gal I and ST3Gal III expression levels were significantly increased in patients with lymph node metastasis when compared to those without metastases [12], [13] and ST3Gal III, ST3Gal IV and ST6Gal I were increased in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. This evidence concerns the gene ST6GAL1 and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia.
