In both Met-anov and Met-ov groups, serum levels of LH, T, A, DHEAS, SHBG, fasting insulin, and AMH as well as the Ferriman-Gallwey score, FAI, GIR and HOMA, were significantly (p < 0.05) better than those in PCOS controls and significantly (p < 0.05) worse than those in non-PCOS controls (Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene PLOD1 and polycystic ovary syndrome.
