Analysis of the differentially transcribed genes in aCRSwNP using Ingenuity Pathway Analysis software identified disease-associated networks related to inflammation (involving molecules like NF-kB, IL6, TNF, and TGFb1), cell adhesion (ITGB2 and ITGAM), and Th2-type cytokines (IL4 and IL13), and IL4R is increased in both AD and aCRSwNP (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and Alzheimer disease.
