In an univariate Cox-analysis for primary carcinomas, Gleason-score (5-6 vs. 7 vs. 8-9), pT-status (pT2 vs. pT3/4), pre OP PSA (< 10 ng/ml vs. ≥10 ng/ml) and margin-status (R0 vs. R1) were confirmed as significant prognostic factors for PSA free survival times whereas patients age (≤64y vs. > 64y) and IMP3 expression (0/1/2/3) were not significant factors (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene IMP3 and carcinoma.
