To assess the subcellular distribution of virions relative to the CI protein during virus infection, YFP-CP and CI-mRFP were coexpressed in N. benthamiana leaf cells infected with a recombinant TuMV-GFP infectious clone, or a TuMV infectious clone expressing a 6K-GFP fusion protein (TuMV::6K-GFP) [36], [37]. This evidence concerns the gene CP and viral infectious disease.
