The identified PLG-binding proteins Lp29, Lp49, LipL40 and MPL36 have been previously reported to be reactive with sera from leptospirosis patients [29], [30] while rLIC12238 and rLIC10494 react with sera from hamsters infected with Leptospira (Nascimento, AL et al., unpublished results). Here, PLG is linked to leptospirosis.
