The ratio of HNF1B(B):HNF1B(C) isoforms changes from 0.7 [IQR 0.22]: 1 in BPH to 35.4 [IQR 124.71]: 1 in prostate cancer tissues (P = 2.9 × 10-9; figure 5). Here, HNF1B is linked to benign prostatic hyperplasia.
