Now, we are presenting the first comprehensive analysis of Mb expression in a large and representative cohort of human breast tissues encompassing normal tissue (n=56), ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS, n=155), invasive breast cancer (n=917) and breast cancer recurrences (n=76), enabling a portrayal of the associations between clinicopathological parameters and the range of Mb synthesis seen in mammary carcinomas. This evidence concerns the gene MB and invasive breast carcinoma.
