NACC1 and ovarian cancer: In order to understand how NAC1 contributes to drug resistance, we previously compared the gene expression profiles of SKOV3 ovarian cancer cells to those of NAC1 inactivated SKOV3 cells where the inactivation was induced by expression of N130, a mutant protein containing only the BTB/POZ domain of NAC1 that competitively inhibits NAC1 homodimerization.
