Furthermore, we have previously demonstrated that BEX2 expression is necessary for the NGF-mediated activation of NF-κB in breast cancer cells and found that p65-nuclear staining, as a measure of NF-κB activation, is approximately 2-fold higher in breast tumor samples with a relative overexpression of BEX2 [1,2].
