We matched this list of genes with the OMIM disease database [15] and found that 27 were previously implicated in a range of disorders encompassing different forms of cancer (CYLD, NOD2, SLC19A1, COL18A1), cardiovascular (ADRA1B, NEBL, NRG1, ZFPM2, UMOD) and psychiatric disorders (GABA3, DAOA, NRG1, KMO, CTNNA3, ZDHHC17, PPP2RB2, OPRD1). The gene discussed is CTNNA3; the disease is cancer.
