Here, we found an increase in the population of Tregs in the bone marrow of glioma-bearing mice whereas there was an absence of Tregs in the case of tumor-free (control) mice and no change in the percentage of Tregs as well as the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ in secondary lymphoid organs as spleen, neck, and cervical lymph node (data not shown). The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is central nervous system cancer.
